After the last ninja war the Hozuki clan needed a way to steer their fate in the right direction after most of the clan members either went missing or was killed. The clan head Aoi Hozuki, decided the the clan needed to improve themselves by improving the clan jutsu and turning it into a new form where they had near complete control over water. While they improved the Hozuki clan made every effort to redeem themselves over the blunders and irresponsibility of the missing members as well as to carry on the will of the fallen members. With this, Aoi Hozuki inspired the revival of the his clan as well as to appoint a new heir to the clan before he passed away.
When the twins were born the village had to face a long period of uncertainty as to whom would be appointed the next head. With this the twins, Shizukamizu and Mizukamizu, were both trained to be the best representative for the village. However one of the twins, Mizukamizu had had a extreme love for his clan while the younger brother couldn't care less. The choice was obvious. Mizu will be the next head of the clan. His brother went off to become whatever he wanted to be.

The clan has the further improved the ability to control water to the point where the most skilled would be able to turn his body into the three states of matter of water only. In some cases a clan member could be the opposite and be able to control water of any object or person by touching them, that is, turn the water into the three states. However, every two decades there comes a special and rare member that is able to do both techniques. This member is said to have the intellect to mix other liquids like oi The only member who can do this is the Mizukage as of now.
Every member in the clan can do the Hydrification Technique, while only a select few are able to bring it to the next level. Clan members also receive 25+ on both chakra manipulation and chakra.
Limitations:
The clan members are all naturally weak against lightning jutsu.When they alter their bodies lightning does 4x as much damage then a regular person. If partially hit by lightning they would be temporarily paralyzed.
